Ministry Overview
Drs. Rick and Anita Gutierrez are based in Durban, South Africa. They develop methods by
which churches can address common health problems in their communities and share the
abundant life found in Jesus Christ. Currently they are training church based lay health
builders in the areas of HIV/AIDS and cardiovascular disease risk factor screening and
education. They work to facilitate partnerships between local churches and the medical
community.
